About Arno Grußendorf
Arno is a Berlin based Jazz Guitarist and Singer.
He studied Jazz at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at the Jazz-Institut-Berlin among which he worked with teachers such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jesse van Ruller and Reinier Baas.
With his Post Rock Jazz band Die Therapie he received a scholarship by Verein Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin e. V. Furthermore they reached the final of the Biberacher Jazzpreis and got 2nd in the Sparda Jazzpreis.
His music ranges from improvised Jazz to Post Rock and Blues. Spontaneousness, melodic grace, on point compositions, intense interplay and a visionary Sound are providing an experience that makes every concert unique and catches on to both jazz experts and people outside the scene.
Arno has collaborated with acclaimed artists like trumpeter and composer Sebastian Studnitzky, singer Judy Niemck, pianist Olivia Trummer, bassist Marc Muellbauer and is planning several future projekts involving saxophonist Malte Schiller, singer Sam Vance-Law and many more.
