About Pink Awful
Pink Awful is music. It is just that. It swirls through, under, and around your legs. And you will feel it.
Born out of a shared desire to create art and share the joy in music, Pink Awful began in 2015 with Ashley Costelloe writing lyrics and making sense of guitarist Mike Miller’s homemade demos. After adding Daniel Lawson, Dwight Struthers, and John Walker Jr. on guitar, bass, and drums, the group released their debut album, potboiler, on July 1st, 2018. The five piece from Reno, Nevada blends rock guitars, atmospheric soundscapes, dissonance, and sophisticated yet catchy melodies to create their unique brand of noise pop.
