About Perpetual End

Perpetual End is a six-piece alternative/progressive metal band from Canberra, Australia. Formed in 2005, they released a self-titled EP in early 2009, and after expanding their line-up and refining their sound began working towards their next release. In 2010, they released their debut full-length album, "This Hour". Recorded over a two year period, the thirteen tracks were written, produced and recorded by the band in their own studio. The detail and passion they have poured into the songs is evident from the start of the first track, using orchestral melodies, harmonies and synth-heavy ambience as backdrops for the vocal-driven pieces. Receiving praise from listeners and webzines around the world, the album also landed the band a nomination in the MusicOz Awards in Sydney for 'Best Metal/Hardcore Band'. Now, in 2013, their highly anticipated sophomore album 'Blood Complex' is set for release on July 26th. Blood Complex is a concept album set in a dystopian future, thirty years from now; The world and it's nations can no longer sustain their massive populations, and food is scarce. Mass sterilization has become law for all but the upper-class and the elite. It follows the story of a boy born illegally, who spends his childhood imprisoned in a basement hidden from the authorities, and grows up to become the leader of a revolution against a tyrannical dictator. 'Blood Complex' - 26.07.13
