Ozomatli

Ozomatli brought it! They sounded as fresh as they did 30 years ago. They played a great mix of old and new tunes- all of which had us dancing in our seats and in the aisles.

This was a special night, celebrating 30yrs of Ozomatli music. I'm so glad I was there, I had such a great time with a friend of mine from out of town. It's definitely one of the coolest venues for a show. Nice grass area and the harbor right next to it.

The show was very intimate, a small venue that the band exploited and they sounded great!! We had a blast and danced all night! This band is made for live shows! I cant wait to see them again!

Ozomatli put on a great show! They’re a high energy, creative, innovative and big fun band. My wife and I had a great time. And, most of the audience were standing and dancing all night long. I would like to see them again and again. Thank you again for a great performance!!!

Always so much fun and so talented! This was my 20th show in 25 years of seeing them. First saw then at the UC SANTA CRUZ Eastfield lawn in September 1999!

WHAT A PARTY! If you have never been to an Ozomatli show, get to one. You dont have to know their music to have a blast. I dont know how they do it. Its like going to a big party the band has thrown at their place. The crowd dances and cheers. When the music drops again, oh my lord you hear elated gasps and cheers. Because they know how to move your soul and feet. Ive been going for 20 years. I always bring someone new and they always have an incredible time. They care about good music and good vibes. The audience receives both ♥️♥️♥️

An Ozo show is a big party full of love and fun! It's fun to see the feedback loop between fans and the band. Congrats to the Lobero Theatre on 100 years.

I wish I could give it more stars. The show was AMAZING!! we are still talking about it. My husband was a fan when I met him 25 years ago and I bought him tickets for his birthday. We went with my 21 year old son who said “I grew up listening to all these songs!!” He was stoked! Great stage presence! Great fan interaction ! From walking out on stage to the conga line to the lobby. A++++. Can’t wait to see them again!!

Fantastic concert! Ozamati was so great!!! Been a fan for 29 years! The crowd was rocking dancing non stop! Loved how they ended carnaval style with a Brazilian type parade off stage through audience with steel drums and dancing! Samba line throughout the audience! Rocking rear concert!!! Thank you LACMA for this free concert for all of us!

EXCELLENT SHOW! The evening began with a DJ set, then KCRW Young Creator CERES BLACK took the stage and introduced her new single, "Copyprinter," with live percussion accompaniment by Lance Beckford. Brayden Nguyen played next, sharing the song that also won him the Young Creator distinction. Ozomatli played next, rocking the stage with a set that included music from their 30+ years as a band. Willy Abers, the bassist, led the band with the energy of a classic garage band. They ended the set with the Young Creators joining them onstage for the final song. As they usually do, they ended the evening parading through the crowd, still playing their instruments. Awesome show, amazing energy. A History making night!

True professionals. Ozomalti has something for everyone. If you attend one of their shows and think you can’t dance, you will soon be proven wrong, your mind will direct your feet, and you will shake what your momma gave you until the show is over, and beyond. And no extra charge for the dance lesson.

HIGH ENERGY! So much excitement and fun. You can't help but dance even if you never dance/hate dancing. Extremely strong and talented musicians with exceptional command of their instruments and vocal range. Great interaction with the audience. Band paraded through the audience at their finale and finished their performance at the theatre exit! Highly recommended to catch this band live wherever/whenever you can... and OFTEN. It's definitely a life bucket list experience!

It was a great venue for am outdoor concert. It was great to see that the band has maintained the same level of energy. It was also great to hear the songs from years back. And their new stuff.

Ozo never disappoints! Beautiful family venue there was room for people to sit on blankets and chairs and still see the band despite the large group of people dancing by the the stage. Ozo played a mix of old favorites and a couple new very danceable songs. And of course they ended the show with a samba line inside the crowd.

Just like they always do, Ozomatli put on a great show. Despite the high temperature and the sun beating down on them during their sound check, they pulled out a high energy show and ended it with the usual walk through the crowd. Something all us Ozo heads have come to love and expect. Thank you OC Parks for bringing one of my favorite bands of all time to your beautiful city.

This is my favorite concert I've ever experienced! The band and their music are pure energy. Schubas is a very intimate venue meaning you have a great view anywhere you stand. If you want a seat, get there at 830 when the doors open, and you might get a seat on the bench.

Ozo never fails to put on a great show! With the addition of Charli 2na and Cut Chemist on these dates, it definitely elevates thier already great live experience to that next level. The sound of the Music Box is some of the best in San Diego for sure.

It was a party packed into an hour and fifteen minutes!I don't care how many times I see them (a lot!!) They never disappoint! I just wish they could play longer. Always a good time!
