Joywave

Joywave as always was fantastic. Sadly they didn’t even play an hour and that’s the band we went to see. Also disappointing is they won’t be back until 2025. We do love Daniel and Paul the boys though and can’t wait to see them again.

This was the BEST concert I’ve ever been to! I enjoyed my entire night with the crowd and the amazing music. The energy was beyond anything I’ve ever been apart of and it felt more like a religious experience than a concert! They are a must see!!

Not only is Joywave an incredible live act, but they made sure to bring openers that were too!! Elliott Lee is incredible, shocked it's their first tour when they're so talented. Dizzy was also fantastic, both the lead singer of Dizzy and Elliott Lee sounded exactly like the recordings, super talented people. And Clibbus....absolutely amazing. I hope everyone gets to be blessed by the sausage sceptre someday. Thank you Joywave, sorry Burlington's elderly bullied you on instagram but please come rock the house again sometime. 😘

HHHHOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!! It was awesome! I say hot because it was packed and so hot with no air, but it was just so fantastic!! Elliot Lee, opener, was so great!! Got to speak to them, too! Awesome human. Joywave was so great! That concert was made for me. Played all my faves. I wish it was longer but it was so hot. All good things come to an end. So fun while it lasted.🙌🏾🤟🏾

Joywave is a live band and they are amazing live! So happy I had the opportunity to see them again and hope to see them in the future!! The warm up bands were great as well- Elliot Lee and Dizzy. The whole show was fantastic!

This band has come a Long way from the Bug Jar to command any Stage!!! Daniel successfully conquered the Underground’s short stage to lead Paul’s B-Day sing-a-long into musical bliss for all in attendance! This “Car wash” left us beaming and spotless. Joseph never disappoints and Kevin gets major brownie points for “London Dungeon”love! Do NOT snooze on Joywave! They are one of the best Indie/alternative bands of the past decade+!!!

i loved joywave !!! they have AMAZINGG stage presence. i really loved their setlist. also visually very fun to watch, with the corvette and the carwash theme going on. this show was super fun!!! hopefully i’ll see them again when they come back :))

the show was amazing. i got their early to see the opening band and hang out w/ their parents. Joywave and Idkhbtfm really played to their crowd of very comfortable adults. met some cool folks in the crowd and we had a special guest appearance of Ryan from the Audience singing New Invention w/ Idk. perfect evening 🤌 -Garr

My first concert since before the pandemic started!!Joywave was fantastic as always! Though, I wish more people were there for both bands, cause I was not feeling enough energy from the crowd during Joywave’s set! That’s no fault of the bands though. Also, I’m only a recent iDKHOW enjoyer, so I didn’t know every song of theirs by heart, but I had a great time still! Their energy was great and I had lots of fun! So, why the half star off? Well, what I said earlier about the crowd, but also because I saw AWOLNATION in 2018 at The Pageant, and that show was on another level, with phenomenal audience engagement and a crowd that was more willing to rock out. So this show, while really great, was inevitably gonna be compared to my only other past show I’ve seen at The Pageant. So, yeah, long story short, this was a fantastic show!! The two things I mentioned just brought my rating down a teeny bit. And please go see Joywave if you can (even if it’s not on this tour)! They’re one of my very favorite artists, and I’m proud to say I’ve seen them on every tour they’ve done now. :)

It was awesome. First time seeing them and they were great. Every song they played was a hit and delivered with more enthusiasm than was prepared for. The venue was small and intimate but the band sounded great. I've never heard so much bass!

Great Show! Over and hour of play time. Pretty good mix of songs, although I would have like to hear the album title track, Possession, since they didn't get to tour that album in 2020. It was great to see a live show again!

I'm posting this a few years late, but this was the best concert I have ever seen at the best venue I have ever been to. A memory I think back to very regularly as the best night of my life. My two favorite bands touring together... truly a one in a million opportunity.

Fabulous foray into the new spring 2022 Joywave tour. Who doesn’t love being apart of something new? ‘Wiil be a great adventure to see the transformation from start to finish when this responder sees the show in Boston near the end of these current set dates. Great Energy from the gents including the new guy/zoom guy ;), despite an untimely accident on I-83 prior to the show (which could have had a very different outcome via photographic evidence). Thankful , all are OK. Frontman Daniel, comical as ever… someone , please, get the man some new H.P. Nailclippers ! Cammy E, show opener , was a delightful presence. Well done, All! Have an amazing and safe Cleanse Tour!

It is obvious that Joywave is passionate about their music and their fans. I got a chance to chat with them afterwards and they’re extremely genuine.

Joywave always manages to put on a captivating performance. I have seen them 3 times and will continue to see them whenever they are nearby as they have yet to disappoint! Their stage presence is wonderful and they always have interesting stage props that are interactive. Whether you are a huge fan or only slightly familiar with them I highly recommend seeing them live!

I can’t describe how insanely happy I was during every Joywave song! I’m so in love with each & every song & Im thrilled they put on a hell of a show! This was the best Halloween I’ve had in my entire 32 years of life. Your music is one of the few things that can de-stress me when Im losing my shit with people, work & life & for that I thank you guys! Keep coming to Chicago ~ I will always come see your show! Love you!

The place itself was hard to get to I couldn't park anywhere I had to take an Uber but the venue itself was amazing. I'm not from the area so I didn't know the campus at all. As a huge joywave fan it was nice to see them for only 15 bucks.

The band seemed to be trying their best but the sound was terrible and it ruined the performance. The sound check guys seriously dropped the ball considering that there was delay because of sound check and setting up their set. I've seen Joywave on other occasions and they were better those times.

Awesome show, these guys are incredible. Missed the last half of the super bloodmoon eclipse, but it was so worth it. They hung out after the show to autograph things, take pictures, and just talk with people. Almost want to drive to STL for their show out there!
