Empire of the Sun

Omg I had the best time ever! I haven't had so much fun in so long! I love, love, love Empire of the sun!! They make me feel so alive! Hehe. I loved the bands they had but Midnight Generation was my favorite! I'll never forget this night. I haven't enjoyed myself in so long. The seats were amazing. There was good food and drinks. 10/10

The band was fantastic honestly they were better than I anticipated. I watched several of their tour videos online before buying tickets as I often do to make sure the bands are in complete trash. They seemed okay live but the pageantry of this show is what made it really appealing for me in the videos I had seen. At least in the venue I was at they sounded spot on and better than actually any of the videos I've seen of them. Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic time. Dancing the night away together on the walkways. We are dancers and hate standing at shows. The only thing that was weird about the show was actually the crowd was primarily people that looked 25 and under and all looked like they were dressed to go to a country bar. It was bizarre to me. I haven't seen that many girls in short shorts and crop tops with boots ever in my life. I certainly didn't expect that for an Australian synth pop/ EDM band

The show was everything I hoped for. Musicians were great, and Luke's and the dancers' outfits were immaculate! Light show and visuals were also spectacular! Thus far, all positives. Sound quality was good, but hovering around 100 dB, which for my ears is simply too much. I already have tinnitus, so I have to wear earplugs, which just detracts from the pleasure I would have if it were just 90 or 93 dB, 96 max. Temperature-wise it was WAY too hot inside the Cirque Royal. The sheer number of people using fans was astounding. The fact that nobody fainted even more so. They should really fix that ASAP! And one other thing. The venue should actively stop people from standing on the stairs blocking the view for other people. Egotistical behaviour should be sternly discouraged. I had a great view from the top row seatings, but I saw quite a lot of annoyed people asking others for consideration, which was not given. Sad. All in all, I had a great time! Thanks to the band and all technicians!

We couldn’t see to much standing left on MainStage, by the door. But the first half of there concert was good but later I didn’t like it so much. I expected more I guess. But my sis enjoyed it, we danced and she also missed something.

I asked God for a memorable show, they fulfilled this dream. Let´s dream on :) btw, why people use their phone so much on this glorious show? To see with their eyes and heart is the way of the Emperian Soul!

I waited over a decade for these guys to tour again. And as soon as I saw tickets were available, I bought them. To say this show was a spectacle would be an understatement. Wardrobe changes. Costumed dancers. The craziest light show that rivals any NIN show I’ve been to. The band was super tight. They sounded amazing. It was well worth the 10+ year wait. Only thing I was heartbroken to discover was that they blew up from their music being on TikTok, so the crowd was all head scarves and sequins like we were at Coachella, filled with teenagers all going live on TikTok and Insta, missing the marvelous grandiose show happening right in front of them as they stared into their phones. But other than that, it was AWESOME.

This was Magical!!! Luke is an amazing Artist, just so full of energy and love. Every song was an extraordinary performance that you felt was created just for you. This is definitely in my top three most favorite shows!!

It was so great, and very spiritual. It was what I expected it to be, and I loved it. There was a no phone policy, but he emailed all his fans photos and videos of the concert afterwards. It was such a sweet surprise to get them. I would recommend going to their concert to anybody out there. I trust them.

It was a great concert, but disappointed it was on a Wednesday night. The floor seats and Loge were full but not the rest of the venue. I b*t it would have been sold out if on Friday or Saturday. Also, they were an hour and 15 minutes late to start...Hating life at work today!

Empire of the Sun harkens a new era of great music and fabulous live performance in support of AskThat God! Sound was excellent. The stage was multi-tiered with a Outstanding full stage back screen. The graphics were so clear and textured one felt Luke Steele might jump into it during AskThat God! All their great songs were beautifully blended to keep the energy and glorious mood at a fever pitch. They are great- I hope they extend the tour so fans can see them, and, of course me again!

Just wow, they aren't in my sweet spot for music (metal core) but I was in Australia and I recalled hearing a couple songs from them so I said what the hell. Jesus talk about a choreographed show. I was blown away, so good. Sydney Myers music bowl is a venue you should not miss, no matter who is playing if you're visiting Melbourne.

I've been to lots of concerts! Some really great and memorable gigs, EotS will have to be one of the best I've seen, ever. The production is amazing! The sound phenomenal. Having Ian Ball playing guitar and contributing his genius is astounding. I want to go again, and again!

By far my favorite set of the night. A performance that will stay with me forever! I hope to see them soon again even if I have to travel. 10/10 would 1,000% recommend at least once in your life to experience them live. *chef kisses*

No one can out perform Luke Steele! He is absolutely one of the best performers I’ve ever seen! His shows just get better and better - he does not disappoint!!! The music is amazing, the visuals are breathtaking and the whole atmosphere is electrifying!!! The energy is so tangible and vibrant!! And his dancing girls are FIERCE!!!! Bring them back ASAP!!!

I absolutely loved this concert! I wish I could go to it over and over again. I've been a fan for years and this was the first time I got to see them in concert. They were even better in person!!!

Cool seeing a Foriegn band that I really enjoy, but the show was set up more for the EDM crowd :( By that I mean the Bass was so ridiculously thunderingly loud that all the unique and softer synth notes where completely drowned out. They had good showmanship, but they could have focused more on the sound than the "party'' atmosphere.
