Monika Almon

Monika Almon is a pop duo from the scorching desert of Phoenix, Arizona, whose music blurs the lines between pop, dance and hip-hop. Established in 2008, the pair is comprised of the longtime couple and best friends Monika Avalos (vocals), born in Stuttgart, Germany, and Almon Hardtmann (vocals, production), from Phoenix, Arizona. Originally founded under the name Ntuit, their first musical undertaking was an ambitious full length album that was as much of a lesson in artistic growth as it was an adventure in self expression. Following an intense period of musical self-discovery, the two had grown beyond the confines of their initial identity Ntuit, and subsequently felt a bold change was necessary in order to capture their growth as artists.
