INCUBATED are a 3 piece alternative metal band Hull, E. Yorks. Bringing a wide variety of influences including the sounds of Soundgarden, Limp Bizkit, Less than Jake, Nine Inch Nails and even Dream Theater. With more hooks then a fisherman's tackle box, one listen and you'll be humming along for days to come... Formed back in February 2007, guitarist and vocalist Dave Runkee, bassist and vocalist Matt Kitching and drummer Dave Stones, the band first met on the Access to Music course at East Riding College, Hull. Since coming together they have played numerous shows all over the country, including being invited to play a showcase night at the prestigious Cavern Club in Liverpool, reaching the semi final of the Surface Unsigned Festival at Manchester's Club Academy, together with playing regular local gigs. A highlight for the band back in the summer of 2009 was receiving a guitar endorsement deal with worldwide major guitar company Hagstrom Guitars. In August 2010 the band released their second EP 15 Minutes of Failure which was fully produced, recorded, mixed, mastered and financed themselves, featuring artwork by guitarist and vocalist Dave Runkee. The EP was released on both CD and digital download with all 4 tracks from the EP being made available to purchase on digital download sites including iTunes Worldwide, eMusic and Rhapsody. After the release of the CD, the first 50 pressings made sold out within a couple of months, reflecting the bands growing popularity. Our second EP "15 Minutes of Failure" is out now for £3.
