Alternative Pop band Plaid Brixx have announced the release of their new video for their single, “The Greener Side” recently named “Best Song of the Month” by Songwriter Universe. Plaid Brixx’s previous release, 2014’s Chemistry EP, received praise from Buzzfeed, Diffuser, Guitar World, ARTISTDirect, PureVolume, and more!

The much-anticipated video for “The Greener Side” was shot and directed by Dale “Rage” Resteghini (previous credits include Fall Out Boy, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj). The single serves as the band’s kick off to their new EP, with production credits from The Agency (credits include Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Becky G). Plaid Brixx’s new sound takes on a totally different style, a departure from the band’s alternative rock roots. “We’re excited about the new direction for our music,” said front man Chris Duggan, “we hope our fans will be happy with our evolution!”

Plaid Brixx is comprised of founder Chris Duggan (vocals & guitar), Mark LeRose (drums) and Jared Sawaya (bass). Since their inception, the band has been featured at several major festivals including SXSW, CMJ, Fashion Meets Music Festival, Musikfest and more! With their debut release, Chemistry, the band was nominated for Best Rock EP of 2014 by the Independent Music Association. The new single, “The Greener Side” landed the band a spot on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and their recent #ThankATeacher playlist.
