Jay Fresh

Jordan Michael Johnson, (Sept. 2, 1991) better known as Jay Fresh, is a hip-hop artist out of Dallas, blowing up the indie music scene. His compositions are mixtures of electronic beats with hip-hop overtones. While his style has been described by some as “eclectic modern hip-hop,” his appeal is increasingly defined by a more thoughtful focus on the lyrics he produces. In the past year, he has become a notable fixture among the Dallas live music scene - opening for artists such as: LMFAO, DJ VICE, Griz, Elliot Lipp, Michal Menert, Gramatik, Paper Diamond, SuperVision, Wale, The Cool Kids, Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Big Krit and Trae The Truth among others. Jay Fresh has also recently collaborated with Artist like Gramatik, Paper diamond, Supervision, Michal Menert, Griz, Brain Gang Blue, and Haywire. He has performed at large shows and festivals including the Pretty Lights Music Showcase at Red Rocks, Lights all Night, House of Blues Dallas, and at SXSW; The Smog Vs.
