On 'til Morning

Based out of Atlanta, GA, On 'Til Morning is an Alternative Rock music lover's dream. Members Sara Meyer, Cory Hopkins, Andy Bowen, Stephen Ousley, and Whit Maxey are long-time friends. It was only a matter of time before the band came to be, and in 2013, On 'Til Morning formed. Drummer Whit Maxey explains how the band got together by saying, “Our history is the perfect paradox; long and short at the same time. Founding members Sara and Stephen joined long time bandmates Andy, Cory, and myself to form something greater than the sum of it's parts.” The band was instantly on to great things as they used Kickstarter to fund $11,370 for the release of their debut EP, 'Something Beautiful'. The record they ended up with is a unique expression of the deep pains and beauties that come with being alive. "The thing about these songs is that they're so different, and yet they all have so much in common. I think biggest thought the record speaks to is that we as people are not alone, and that we were made for more and better than we often live for. It's meant to remind, encourage, and call the world to go after that 'more'." says vocalist Sara Meyer. The band strives to produce music that is honest and passionate, while exploring the boundaries of creativity, giving utmost attention to detail in hopes of awe-inspiring discovery. Production of 'Something Beautiful' was an unforgettable musical experience. “I produce a lot of music, but ours was probably one of, if not my favorite to produce. Working with Sara to write the songs and all the guys to come up with great parts and be creative musically were all experiences that reminded me why I love making music so much in the first place. I absolutely love creating great music with these guys and look forward to getting back in the studio together and cranking out some more for our fans!” says Andy Bowen. Playing live shows is what the band is all about. “We are all experienced musicians, but we are really excited to come together and share this music with our fans. It is truly humbling to play a show and see people really digging your music," states bassist Stephen Ousley. “We're looking forward to continually developing our fan base locally and expanding it. We're working on new songs and hope to have more in the works soon!" says guitarist Cory Hopkins. The future looks great for the band as they are set to write new material and begin the next chapter. 2015 looks to be the most active the band has ever been.
