Save The World, Get The Girl

Save The World, Get The Girl started with high school friends Thor Sorensen, Jason Harper and Aaron Huston finding Ana Andersen and starting a project under the name of Petty Cash back in 2011. But that project fell apart almost as fast as it started. Luckily, Thor and Jason still had the goal of making music their life. So in the fall of 2012 they reconnected with Aaron and they decided to try again. So with more determination they found Jordan Simpson and started practicing under the name Saturday Pick-up. Soon after Jordan left the band for personal reasons and the three remaining members kept pushing on with a new name with Aaron on the drums. At the start of 2013 they had found Justice Ferguson and had come out with the name Save The World, Get The Girl. Still early in 2013 they released an unnamed Demo and started giving it away for free. Later in 2013 Aaron left the band on good terms and Lance Ruby Joined the band. Soon after the band started to record an EP. Just before they released the EP they decided to throw it away and record a full length album! Then, because of distance issues Lance Ruby and the band parted ways and Ian Earley was welcomed with open arms to SWGG. We are a pop-punk band from Salt Lake City, Utah.
