Founded in 2012 by Chris Hurd, Tucker Woods is a New York based group offering a fresh take on psychedelic pop with a nineties attitude. The band brings a modern sensibility to their rock n’ roll roots, drawing inspiration from the likes of The Stone Roses, Oasis, and The Beatles. Tucker Woods is Chris Hurd (lead guitar/vocals) and Brian Motel (bass). For the past five years, the trio have garnered local attention and praise through two breakout EPs, consistently stellar live performances, and their innate sense of songwriting. Hurd’s words are as introspective as they are aware. Tucker Woods offer sharp, observant commentary on others in relation to oneself, reflecting real-life characters and personal musings with the world—the world right outside your blinds.
