I love Anberlin, but it took them a while to get their stride for this show. The audio balance wasn't great, so you could tell Stephen had a hard time hearing himself, especially on the first song. It got better by the end, but it was a short set, so we didn't get to enjoy much of them anyway. I have seen them perform before and they have done much better in the past, so I think it just wasn't their best night.

The sound for the first band (Gasoline Heart) was great. You could hear each individual instrument and the vocals. For the headliner (Anberlin) the sound was garbage. There was constant feedback. You coudn't tell anything apart. It was a muddled mess. The lead singer's mic was inconsistent. One song they'd have him loud enough to hear, the next song it would be quiet. I've been to a lot of shows at The Social and this may have been the worst because of the sound.

Wow... The boys are back with such life, power, and energy! Great show especially with their other projects opening (Carrollhood & Loose Talk) and William Ryan Key basically giving us a Yellowcard best of. Fan-freakin-tastic!
