ALCSTONES (ENG) Alcstones were born in 2005 from the twisted minds of Alberto Todeschini (guitars) and Luca Avesani (Vocals, Bass). The main idea of the band is to write music together following the footsteps of the legendary bands they were influenced by when they were kids..bands such Metallica, Iron Maiden and Motorhead. In 2006 the band releases its first full lenght titled "Master...from the hill" which allows them to start an intense live promotion supporting important italian heavy metal bands like Crying Steel. In May 2007 the drummer Cristian Boaretto leaves his place behind the skins to Cristian Bonamini. In 2008 they give birth to five new songs and release a live album called "Live for no good boys" that takes the trio from hell to support the female-rock-epic-asskicking band Girlschool. In the end of 2009 Alcstones end the recording sessions of the Ep "Usurpers" and start touring Italy sharing the stage with international bands such Hollow Haze and Arthemis. The high energy and an authentic rock'n'roll attitude spread the name of the band and give them the chance to play on some of the most important festivals in Italy like VRock Festival, Art Pollution Fest, Isola Rock and Atzwang Metal Fest, on the same bill with National Suicide, Anguish Force, Asgard, Red to Grey and many others. In 2012 the play the Rock & Metal in my Blood Festival in Turin (ITALY) with great bands as Spidkilz, Elm Street (AUSTRALIA), Morgana, Arthemis and legendary Sadist. February 2014, Alberto Todeschini left the band for personal reasons. ALCSTONES (ITA) Gli Alcstones nascono nel 2005 da Todeschini Alberto e Luca Avesani, da subito l'idea del progetto è quella di scrivere musica originale, influenzati da storiche band rock/metal come Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Metallica. Nel settembre 2006 la pubblicazione del loro primo CD dal titolo Master...from the hill, il quale da il via a numerosi live dove hanno l’occasione di supportare i mitici Crying Steel, storica heavy metal band italiana. Nel Maggio 2007 il batterista Cristian Boaretto abbandona il trio ed è subito sostituito da Cristian Bonamini. Dopo un'intensa attività live durante la stagione 2008 la band estrae dalle umide cantine veronesi cinque brani i quali vengono incisi in un live dal titolo Live for not good boys, in seguito nel gennaio 2009 supportano la storica band inglese tutta al femminile GIRLSCHOOL e successivamente si concludono le registrazioni analogiche del primo Ep dal titolo USURPERS. Dopo la pubblicazione di quest’ultimo lavoro supportano gli Hollow Haze di Nick Savio (Heavey Metal band) e la Heavy-Thrash Metal band Arthemis, capitanata da Andrea Martongelli. L'Usurpes Tour consente alla band di suonare sui palchi del VRock Festival, dell'Art Pollution Fest, dell'Isola Rock e Atzwang Metal Fest di Caldonazzo (Bz), dove condividono il palco con National Suicide, Anguish Force, Asgard, i germanici Red to Grey e altri. Il 2012 li porta a Torino sul palco del Rock & Metal In My Blood Festival in compagnia di Spidkilz, Elm Street (Australia), Morgana (Roberta Delaude), Arthemis e gli storici Sadist. Febbraio 2014, Alberto Todeschini per ragioni personali lascia la band. Rock - Heavy Metal band without mercy. Sounds rough with catchy melodies and powerful. This is the right mix for headbending!
