BRUTAL. Just BRUTAL. Meshuggah is one of my favorite bands and they did not disappoint. From the moment they stepped on stage to their finale, everything was insanely awesome. Their set was BRUTAL, their stage presence was BRUTAL, their heaviness was BRUTAL, the staff at Masonic were BRUTAL, the mosh pits were BRUTAL.......you get my drift. The only thing that wasn't BRUTAL was the parking situation. I paid for a parking pass at the venue but I still wasn't allowed in because it was full. I must have driven around San Francisco for almost an hour trying to find a spot which made me miss Cannibal Corpse unfortunately. But at least I got to see Meshuggah tear up the city from the ground up! It was well worth it. STAY METAL MY FRIENDS 🤘🤘💀💀

Absolutely incredible! I don’t even listen to them on the reg but knew the live experience is the way to digest this band. I saw them previously at a Rockville during the day and they were good but they are def meant to be experienced at night with the light show that compliments their time signature changes etc. Seeing them live and locking into the grooves were almost spiritual. It’s also impressive that they started releasing music in the 90’s but still sound like a current band that is not dated and you can hear the influence they have had on every genty band with breakdowns. They are the kings!

IT… WAS… AMAZING! My first Metal Concert, it was excellent. The opening acts (Carcass and Cannibal Corpse) did not disappoint. The sound was good and the lights were awesome. Meshuggah knows how to put on a show with insurmountable force, precision, and did it effortlessly. Jens Kidman’s voice is so powerful and always compliments the instrumentals from the colossal sounds of the guitars and drums. It is practically a religious experience. The venue was very well kept and organized, and even though my chain was not allowed, they accommodated me with holding it in coat check without fee. I will forever remember this show and the venue it took place at. MESHUGGAH. ONE SYLLABLE. ONE VOWEL AHHHHHHHH!!!

4/11: Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah Overall Experience: A+ Best Set: Meshuggah Least Fav Set: Carcass Most Disappointing: N/A Highlight moment: "Rational Gaze" madness Best Factor: High Energy Crowd Easily best show of the weekend! Great sound and incredible energy throughout the show, especially during songs like "Hammer Smashed Face" and "Rational Gaze". Wasn't the biggest meshuggah fan going in, but after I gained a whole new respect for the band. For those even remotely into metal music, you HAVE to see meshuggah live. It was a religious experience. And Carcass and CC were excellent as well. Badass show!

I drove from several states away to see Meshuggah and it was well worth the drive. Although I have been listening for years, since I was a teenager, this was my first time seeing them in concert. It was even better than I thought it would be. I will be tracking for the next North American tour, as my kids want to go with me next time. The Fillmore Auditorium was a pretty good venue, but there was standing room only, even where seating was purchased.

Carcass was great, but short set and wish they could have played more. Cannibal Corpse is the gold standard of Death Metal and absolutely phenomenal live. And then there is Meshuggah. Words can't describe what it is like to behold these titans of Metal. They are truly awe-inspiring and in a league of their own. Their sound is crushing, their lighting/production is second to none. Truly unlike any else. They must be experienced live. The Pageant is an absolutely top tier venue for it's size. Acoustics are incredible and not a bad view in the entire place.

This was a really well run and fun event! The security personnel were quick and courteous with the check in. The lockers were conveniently located at the entrance, which made all day access very easy. The show ran very smoothly with bands starting on time, so there was no down time that I was aware of. The light and sound for both stages was top-notch! It was so nice to be at a festival where all of the bands sounded and looked great on stage. 🤘 I would like to have had more plant-based food options, but nice there were some available. It would be nice if water had been available for free. It would be nice if they had a dedicated spot with large containers of water for self service. I am looking forward to Headbangers Parade ‘25!

Meshuggah as usual were great. Sound at history is great. Very clean place. Staff are very friendly. Not my favorite place for a show.stage is to low to see unless u are jammed in lower floor jnfront of stage(mosh pit area) or payed a crazy amount of money for a seat upstairs. Viewing isn't great anywhere else. Just tops of heads. It is designed more a dance club than concert hall. . Upstairs sound is OK at best upstairs They have large tv's everywhere. Never showing the show for people who can't see. Only comercials

In my 15+ years of going to metal/punk shows, there is no exaggeration when I say Meshuggah puts on hands-down the heaviest, most precise, highest quality performance I've ever experienced in the genre. I'm blown away every time I have the privilege of seeing them. From the dazzling, psychedelic light show to the air-tight, crushing technical instrumentals payed in jazz-like, mind boggling syncopation, this band's show should truly be on every rock fan's bucket list. I cannot recommend enough.

great band great vibe my issue is even but getting the side seating upper level you can not see below to the stage. You have 3 more rows when bar stle tables that once every one stands up to watch you will not see anything. my seats where upper level by brick wall and the only chance to watch is with the TVS on the wall. the seating should be going down pitched to give a view. Wont spend that money thinking 3rd row would be great views.

I'm honestly devastated I couldn't mosh. Everyone was committing suck punches to the back of head. Zip ties were being make shifted into shivs. Women were being personally assaulted by MANY MANY MANY HUGE MEN. Guys I have seen many shows, even crowd killing shows. That was attempted murder, from everyone in the pit AND AROUND IT I SAW YOU. L Venue, massive L, more security stopping crowd killing. !- NOBODY MOSHING WAS THERE TO MOSH. THEY ALL WANTED TO KILL PEOPLE. - Taking a big look around, the whole venue is looking at the pit like wtf, nobodies stopping this fr? - In-between every single song I believed I was gonna hear about a death. - Please address crowdkilling. Devastating, absolutely ruined the vibe, the show, the crowd hated it too. Meshuggahs reputation was stained at this show. Everyone knows it. - I blame the People of Grand Rapids. Every time I mosh there I get seriously hurt within minutes. But can mosh all set in what you call "hardcore Detroit" no L crowdkilling tik tok brains. Grand Rapids is not ever gonna be as cool as Detroit, because your ego hurt because your not Detroit. Don't act like you are, what you aren't. I promise you, you sucker punch me, you're dead. Like not a joke, I got very close to seriously having to hurt someone. - So much trampeling, like 5 crowdkillers would grapple the back of someone, hook them 5 times until they collapse face first. Then trampel them onto the next target. I'm ending their lives if they pull that, many people agree with me on that, that's not mosh pit etiquette. You die trying that BS, don't play like that. You don't know people like that, you don't want to find out. Real shit.

Best concert of my life. And trust me, I’ve been in many concerts, different countries, etc. This one was on another level, everything was perfect, the Slovenian crowd is just fire, they’re friendly and never stop moshing and dancing, I always love concerts in Ljubljana. Sound was awesome, the venue was sick and oh hell, Behemoth and Meshuggah, What a monsters! No words can describe my happiness, I had the time of my life in the pit.

Me and two nephews went to go see meshuggah for our first time. Torche and in flames were great, love the vibe going all around. Told tomas and Jens can't wait for the show, me and my nephews got a fist bump from tomas. Cool dudes! Was like 😯📢 WOOOOOOO! Hope they come back and make a tour to Utah since Colorado was the closes to go to🤘💯

I mean this in the best way,, this was the most violent concert I've ever been to. The intensity of the band mixed with the intensity of the crowd meant that we were constantly pushing against each other, the whole crowd felt like a mosh pit, and the actual pit was just pure insanity. I had so much fun and Meshuggah was flawless. 11/10 I am so sore.

Meshuggah, as I hoped, were mindblowing and sounded as good as the albums. Their live show must be seen to be believed. Everyone in the band was perfectly in sync. However, the opening bands, Torche, and Converge, were only okay. Also the lazy ushers/security at the Hammerstein Ballroom allowed quite a few fans in the balcony area to stand at the railing, blocking the view of many fans. If people want to stand, don't buy balcony seats. There were plenty of standing options on the ground level. Very impressed the concert started precisely on time (on the minute, really). Highly recommended tour.

The opening act torche was good! Converge was great! As always! They played their material from "the dusk in us" and "All the love we leave behind" albums and finished with their classic material from "You fail me" and Jane Doe to close off their set. Killer!!! Material!! They sound great live! Exhilarating and riveting performance from the band! They definitely got the crowd screaming along! Meshuggah was legendary! Great show! And a great set that they played! Lots of new material and a couple old ones! All great stuff! Had lots of fun! Will always try and see these guys when they come around

First time at the Fillmore. Very nice place. Meshuggah killed as always. First time seeing them with Per Nilsson in Fredrik Thordendals place. He did not disappoint. He actually personally handed me his guitar pick. The rest he just threw out in the crowd. Finally got to meet Marten. He was super nice. I had been messaging him online days before the show and told him that I would be wearing my Chaosphere Jersey and when they came out on stage he pointed at me and smiled. I was given a show specific poster that was reserved only for VIPs. Someone came up and handed it to me as the lights went down for the show to start. I got one of Tomas' sticks. The 4th I've gotten from him. My first since he switched companies. I also got a setlist which like my others is framed and on the wall. BDM also did a great job. Trevor came up to me and my friends after the show and thanked us for being up front and supportive. He was also super nice.

Meshuggah is the best live performance I've been to. I was wowed the entire time. They sound just like the CDs. The instrumentals were just mesmerizing and vocals were clear. To say they were ear candy is an understatement. I've been to other concerts and you can tell vocalists get edits in the studio but Jens Kidman sounded true all the way. I've been listening to them 14 years and it was my first time seeing them live. Meshuggah is truly a titan in the metal world and unlike any other band out there.

Bands were amazing but this venue sucks. Online doesnt tell you that general admission can not be on the floor by the pit. I paid to upgrade. They tried telling me only way was to buy a table in the back of the room where you could not see & that I had to pay waitress extra 50 even though I didn't want to sit at the table. total rip off place.
