I was at work one-day, and my now girlfriend walked up to me and was like "what does these logos even say?!" And I was like oh that's Lorna Shore and Job For a.... WHERE DID YOU SEE THIS???" And that's how I began an impulse purchase of airplane tickets, rental car, Hotel, and a day pass for the Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Roughest crowd I had ever been in at a Festival, had my phone pickpocketed, very minor sunburn, and the worst dehydration of my life. 10/10, would do again with zero Heaitation. Everyone was on point and in my top 10 concert experiences of my life. Even if the festival was a shitshow lol

About Job for a Cowboy

In a little over a year after their solidified line up, Job for a Cowboy has made their debut EP, Doom, released in December on King of the Monsters (The Locust, Creation Is Crucifixion). The band spent months in preparation in order to record the most powerful album they could. In songwriting, they consistently seek out opportunities to challenge themselves in mastering levels of technical achievements found in their wide range of influences.

The band's fan base has allowed them to share the stage with everyone from As I Lay Dying and The Dillinger Escape Plan to Origin and The Acacia Strain to Haste the Day and The Red Chord.

Job for a Cowboy is striving to remain loyal to their non-DIY roots, the band has decided to spend the next year touring in promotion of their EP on their own. After some personal differences within the band, the original lead guitarist was asked to leave and he was replaced by Bobby Thompson on rhythm guitar, and Ravi Bhadriraju moved up to the position of lead guitar. Also, their youngest member Elliot Sellers has recently decided to leave the band, but has agreed to stay on until the new album has been written and recorded. They are no longer looking for a new drummer.

To add to their progressive accomplishments they have now signed a deal with the well-known and well-respected label, Metal Blade Records; known for signing artists such as GWAR, As I Lay Dying, Cannibal Corpse, Unearth, The Red Chord, The Black Dahlia Murder and Bolt Thrower.

Job For A Cowboy will be touring with other heavy metal acts such as Children of Bodom, Megadeth, In Flames, and High on Fire in a metal festival known as Gigantour. Megadeth will be headlining the event.
