I am more than just a singer; I am the proud product of the inner city; I am a foodie; I am a bold individual; I am a thespian; I am Quan Howell. My life is a balance of God, family, friends and my passions.
One of the most interesting things about me that I discovered late in life is my love for the color red. For years I didn’t have a particular color that I could identify with until red just stood out to me. The color red is one of those colors that make the chocolate skin come alive and people stand to notice its boldness.

When the stage is not my number one priority, I indulge in taking my palate on a food journey to satisfy my inner foodie. I believe a man should live by several streams of income, so I’m working on a new show as well as a food blog, which will give people opportunities to enjoy dining on any level. My life is live by this amazing poem and this is a portion of me.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
You’re playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
