Aly Martin

Born in 1993, I showed an interest in the violin at a very young age. At the age of seven I began formal violin training through the Suzuki Method from Connie Heim Stambaugh of the Lebanon Suzuki Strings. At the age of seven I began formal violin training. After traveling to Nashville, I fell in love with improvisation and challenged myself by playing as many genres as I could get my hands on. Now, at 21, I have performed with many artists some including the legendary Earl Hughes and the Alaskan Opry, famous Annie Moses Band, Michael Hedges, Earth Apples, The Wayfarer Experiment, Justin Angelo and the Experience, Billy Page, The Chestnuts, Rick Emery, Lee Moyer, Jim Folker, and many more. Some other accomplishments include a scholarship from Berklee College of Music and Penn State University School of Music, acceptance into Lebanon Valley College Chamber Orchestra, Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra, Hershey Symphony. I have studied under famous Tracy Silverman, Max Zorin, Tammy Rogers King, Geraldo Edelstein, Emily Small, Johannes Dietrich, Sandra Dackow, Connie Heim Stambaugh, Chris Campbell, Annie Wolaver. I have recorded with the SteelDrivers, Bjorn Jacobson of the Wayfarer Experiment, Justin Angelo, Kyle Hiltz, Emessa.
