About Drew Lloyd
Drew Lloyd, originally from Woodland, GA, is an Atlanta-based bassist, vocalist, and music educator. He has been an active performer and instructor since moving to Atlanta in 2005.
Performing credits include Alain Brunet & Akpé Motion, Christoper Crenshaw, Jim Pugh, The Whiskey Gentry, The Packway Handle Band, and Blair Crimmins & the Hookers. He has recorded with artists such as Joe McGuinness, Rafael Pereira, Theodore Croker, and local acoustic group Dusty Roads. Most recently, Drew studied jazz at Kennesaw State University with Marc Miller, and previously studied bass with Russ Rodgers and Todd Markey.
Drew is currently a member of The Joe McGuinness Trio and The Misdemeanors Jazz Band, and continues to play with a variety of Atlanta-based groups throughout the Eastern United States.
