Chasing The Rise

This ambitious band from Vilnius, Lithuania was founded in 2012. Their music is the best representation of the genre’s canon, worthy of the ears of every Metalcore lover – even the most fastidious ones. Finding hope and serenity in despair is the message that Chasing The Rise delivers through their music. Every song is unique, moods vary between very calm, slow, fast and aggressive. Chasing The Rise mixes technicality and melody well, without losing song structure or energy. Intensive melodic guitar riffs, massive breakdowns, strong emotional hardcore vocals is what makes Chasing The Rise stand out and come out of the metalcore genre to become one of the most promising bands in the baltics.

Chasing the Rise has recorded with Andreas Magnusson who is known for his work with Born Of Osiris, Fit For A King and Wolves At The Gate. The band is going strong since the beginning. They have played at the three biggest Lithuanian festivals Devilstone, Karkle and Galapagai sharing stage with well known names such as Dead By April, Behemoth, Toxic Holocaust and Beyond All Recognition.

In 2013 the band have released their debut EP "The Dawn" with inspiring artwork by Ernesta Vala. This was the first original metalcore release in Lithuania ever. It is not saying too much that the band actually established the sophisticated sound of the metalcore genre in the country. The 2014 single and video clip "Internal Fight" reached 30'000 views on Youtube. In 2015 the band worked on their second EP entitled "Chapters," which was successfully released in May 2016. The band have released a lyric video for the song “The Beacon” that reached 15 000 views.

Stronger than ever Chasing The Rise is ready to hit the stages in Europe introducing their newest sounds to the crowds.
