Sam Scales Music

After receiving Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1982, Sam’s ministry began with participating in church choirs and worship teams, leading worship and working with youth in music.

In August 1999, Sam entered into what she was created to do, moving into solo-music ministry singing outside the church walls.
As Psalm 100 Ministries launched, Sam began singing in coffeehouses, mission & outreach ministries, festivals, house churches, women's groups and bible studies singing locally, nationally and being invited to Germany.

In the summer of 2003 Sam released her first CD project, ‘Defender Of My Soul’ and began supporting the album with a national tour, singing in many churches, coffeehouses, outreach missions, open air concerts, including being an opening artist for John Schlitt of PETRA.

In 2004 her second CD project ‘Tear Down The Wall’ was released and the album was supported with another national tour, including a mission trip to San Isidero, Mexico.

Sam with husband Warren volunteered ad several outreach missions and assisted other ministries in their gift of music.

After using mainly backing tracks to her music, Sam bought her first guitar in 2005, a Martin, which she still plays to this day. Self-taught, playing her new instrument Sam's music began to take on new life and a different sound.

Exciting doors opened for "Psalm 100" to lead worship and speak in many churches in Germany throughout 2006-2008, including African-French, German and American churches.

In 2011 Sam's long awaited Contemporary CD was released, titled 'Eyes On The Road', moving away from the early editions of rock/pop.

With the release of 'When Wallflowers Dance' in 2014, Sam's music has come into it's own developed style of Organic Folk and anointed worship.

Her music draws you in and introduces you to biblical stories, life experiences or deep worship.

The publishing of Sam's book in 2015 opens up a new avenue of connection with her audiences.
Titled the same as her latest CD (When Wallflowers Dance) the book gives deeper insight into Sam's passion, inspiration for her songs, a heart for the hurting and love for Jesus as the writings invite the reader to connect with scripture to renew the mind to become free from bondage and hindrances in faith and trust in God.

In addition to music, Sam also designs her own jewelry line called NotesNBling, which is making it's full business release since the Summer of 2018.
