Way Down South RVA

Wayne Williams (Song writer) has been playing rhythm guitar and bass in Nashville for 30 years and was joined by Rosa Billings in Old Town Petersburg. Rosa Billings plays Latin percussion and the drum kit- following her South American roots and gives the band its Latin rhythm. Jay Morgan plays bass and guitar he was a touring musician as a young man who gave up music for 25 years to raise a family and build a career before resuming his love for making music. Steve Gohlke comes from many big bands and R&B groups to round out the band on lead guitar., As a group we have played weddings, corporate events, festivals, restaurants and clubs throughout the central Virginia area.
