Chris Roberts Acoustic

Combining a lifetime of classical training and a love for everything vintage, Chris Roberts has a songwriting style that can only be defined as unique, soulful, and nostalgic. Roberts became interested in music early on, learning to read sheet music and play violin in elementary school before joining his hometown marching band, the Colleton County Band of Blue, as a trumpet player.

The music Chris writes, performs, and records today pays homage to Classic Rock acts such as ZZ Top, Soul singers such as Bill Withers, and even traditional Blues writers such as Robert Johnson with a pop edge and an attention to detail that listeners are sure to enjoy.

Toward the end of my high school career I began playing small acoustic shows around my hometown at local restaurants and amusement centers and had experimented with a handful of bands. In 2011 I was approached to audition for lead vocalist spot in a studio project that later became known as Pareidol under which I've released two albums and been featured on the local radio outlet 98Rock.

Now I reside in Charleston, SC and I play small acoustic shows all over the area.
