Hanagorik

With more than two decades and a half of dedication to the Metal music, The Brazilian band Hanagorik was formed in 1991 in a small city named Surubim (Northeast of Brazil). Featured Tuca Araújo (Guitar), Daniel Costa (Guitar), Tontonho Gomes (Bass), Junior Costa (Drums) and Jones Vilar (vocal).

After two Demo-Tapes, IMAGENS E COLAGENS – 1993 and SCREAMING AGAIN – 1995 their first album was released in 1997 and was titled UNCIVIL after that would came FOR KIDS WITH SOME PROBLEMS – 2002, THE CARAVAN – 2003 and ENTERTAINING THE WORLD – 2006.

After to take part of big festivals in Brazil, Hanagorik has undertaking their first tour in Germany in 2000 when besides several concerts opened the night to the American band Six feet under. In 2002 the band made a new European tour playing in Poland, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany again to promote their new album For Kids with some problems. The Caravan tour in 2003 and the Entertaining the world Tour – 2006 ended this European concerts period.
Throughout his career Hanagorik shared the stage with Sepultura, Six Feet Under, Stratovarius, Shaman among others, took part of Festivals like EXPO 2000 – Hanover, Fête de la Musique – Berlin – 2002 and in the same year the Metal Hammer magazine chose FOR KIDS WITH SOME PROBLEMS as the Demo of the month.

After 4 albums, 4 European tours and several concerts in Brazil and abroad in 2010 the band broke up.

But…

In the beginning of 2017 with two new members, André Arcelino (Vocal) and Denis Costa (Guitar), Hanagorik starts a new journey to celebrate the anniversary of 20 Years of their first album Uncivil and 15 years of their second one, For Kids With Some Problems.

Seven years after the end Hanagorik releases a new song, ROTTED NATION, is a song about the current situation in Brazil but could be about all the oppressed people in the world who needs to understand that they have the power in their hands to change any situation anytime they want.
