About Man Called Noon

Man Called Noon is releasing their 2nd full-length studio album “The Bad Guy." Recorded in Chicago at SHIRK Studios and produced by Steven Shirk & Matt Cerritos, “The Bad Guy” is a push into a broader musical texture allowing for a more intricate and burgeoning sound. Man Called Noon’s new album has a pop focus on the melody with catchy hooks that provide large moments of nostalgia. The Last year for Man Called Noon has been one of growth professionally and musically. With their new album, a planned 2016 summer tour of the Midwest, and recently signing with the music promotion and distribution company, Tinderbox Music, Man Called Noon is putting themselves in place to make big noise in the Chicago music scene. The new album, “The Bad Guy” and the live show features an 8-member band that passionately and energetically put on display Man Called Noon’s strength in pop-songwriting and poignant interpretation of the various styles that is the catalogue of American rock and roll. Their roots are evident in their melodic mixture of classic Americana and post-grunge pop, rock, and soul. Boisterous guitars, tight bass & drums, combined with alluring backing vocals & keys, all erupt over impassioned soulful lyrics resulting in a distinct and in your face style. Chicago Rock and Roll.
