Jessie Taynton

Jessie Taynton is a well-seasoned and passionate bass guitarist who has completed her education at York University for Jazz Bass Performance and Concurrent Education. She first picked up the bass guitar in 2005 at the age of 13, which quickly developed into a passion that would impact her life and her future career.

Jessie immersed herself in many musical opportunities in her teenage years, performing at local bars in the GTA with a wide variety of local musicians and mentors. She brought her diverse experience to York University to pursue music in post-secondary education. With a desire for music education and travelling the world, Jessie aspires to bring her energy and drive into a lifelong adventure of sharing her music with the world and taking in what music the world has to offer.
