Rachel K Collier

A grade 8 pianist with a distinctive voice and innovative output, Collier studied Creative Music Technology (BMus) at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama for four years, where she spent her time studying composition, sound design and writing and recording music and songs in many different genres.

Following her move to London in 2010, she co-wrote and featured on a number of successful records, including comeback single from legendary garage producer Wookie “2 Us” in 2012 and “Only For You” from Mat Zo’s Grammy-nominated Album “Damage Control” in 2013.

Now focused solely on writing, producing and performing under her own name, Collier released her debut self-produced EP “Words You Never Heard” in October 2015 on UK underground electronic label Love & Other, followed by a series of singles via her own electronic label, NIF Records, each showing her talents as a stand-out electronic solo artist, writer and producer.

A die-hard Ableton enthusiast, Collier is known for performing using a multi-instrument technical solo setup built around the Push 2 controller, designed to enable her to perform her studio productions in a live setting.
