Briggs is singer songwriter with a passion for performing and a hunger for adventure.

He has travelled across America, Australia, New Zealand and the UK seeking inspiration for lyrics and performing on every stage available.

​Originally from Chelmsford Essex, Briggs developed a love for song writing after attending an open mic night at his first University (Rose Bruford College),originally studying Stage Management.

​​His music is a combination of Country and Folk music with a tinge of Soul and draws inspiration form artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Bob Dylan, Bobby Womack and Chris Stapleton.

His songs are conversational, tell stories and paint pictures in the listeners mind's and are performed with conviction using the rich tones of his barritone voice.

Briggs is currently recording and perform with band 'Downtown Roundabout' as the singer and acoustic guitarist, with a release date set for late summer.

In regards to song writing Briggs has been consistently co-writing with Jaimie Sellers of 'Run Wild Music' at his time at ACM Guildford and has top-lined for the band 'The Straights'.
