Leah Harris

Leah Harris is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose style brings a new level of intimacy to Pop music. Raised on the border of Detroit, Leah is all about real, honest Soul. Taking inspiration from artists like Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Jeff Buckley, and Fiona Apple, Leah combines dark songwriting with old-school soul vocals and bluesy piano licks.

Originally from border city Windsor, Ontario, Leah’s love for music was nurtured by the sounds of Detroit, where she did most of her performing. She later moved to Boston to study Piano Performance at Berklee College of Music, where she met her producer Adam Rhodes. Leah's first EP “I Don’t Believe in Love" was recorded in New York’s renowned Systems Two Studios and released in 2014. Leah moved to Sweden in 2015 to join the European music scene, and has since focused her live performance on the Nordics, UK, and Ireland.

Leah is now in the process of recording a brand new album in New York. Produced again by Adam Rhodes in Brooklyn's Systems Two Studios, the latest tracks combine soulful piano-driven grooves with raw, dynamic vocals and a dark sense of humour.

Leah is currently based in Dublin, Ireland, where she is preparing to launch the first new single "Don't Blame Me" in September 2017.
