About Empire Escape
Empire Escape is a Berlin-Leipzig-based band and they don’t mind being labelled ‚New-Wave‘ whereas common pop is just around the corner. What it boils down to: They love music and to perform it.
That’s what they have tried. Up to now they have been on stage around 120 times, with great people like ’Future Islands‘, ’I Like Trains‘, ‘The Temper Trap’, ’New Model Army’, `Hjaltalin’, ’Stars’, ’’Pete and the Pirates’, ’I am in love’ and on their own for so many times. What an honor it was to support the ’Shout out Louds‘ on their ‚Germany-Austria-Switzerland‘ Tour. Not to speak of the festivals like the ‚Rolling Stone Weekender‘ or the ‚Liverpool SoundCity‘.
Be it with four people or four hundred: after all, it just needs to feel real. There is nothing better than sitting backstage with others who love to stay hungry and foolish and to have succeeded to touch your audience…
That’s what they have tried.
