Damiano

Being born into a deep rooted, musical family; at a young age Damiano knew his calling. At the tender age of 6 he was already writing songs. As the years progressed, he remembers hearing his first electronic song­- the classic track from Armand Van Helden titled “Witch Doctor”. Damiano was captivated by the electronic, pulsing sounds and began his musical journey with electronic music. When he was finally able to save up enough money, he bought his first pair of technique1200s and began learning to DJ the music that he loved. He began attending some of New York City’s most legendary nightclubs such as Vinyl, Twilo, Tunnel, and Sound Factory­ where he first met Serge Devant. The two remained friends throughout the years and ultimately decided to collaborate in the studio. The result was a string of critically acclaimed tracks such as, “Addicted,” which Damiano co­wrote under his previous alias Danny Inzerillo. The track hit the top of the charts in multiple countries. Damiano also landed many prominent NYC gigs; playing hot spots such as Marquee, Space Ibiza NY, Verboten, Mansion, Le Souk, Webster Hall, Hammerstein Ballroom, Sullivan Room, and the acclaimed Cielo. As his collaborations with Devant advanced he wanted to take his production to a higher level. Damiano attended the Institute of Audio Research where he graduated in sound engineering. As the boom of electronic music began to take shape, he found himself at a crossroad: Follow the trend or reinvent himself. He chose the latter and as a result Damiano was born. A sound more focused on Deep Lush House, Deep Tech, and Tech House.The new era begins with the track “Fearing Love”­ his latest collaboration with Devant. The record is signed as the debut release on music moguls Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ new label Emerald City.
