About Leslie Sanazaro
Singer and pianist Leslie Sanazaro writes piano driven pop music, which has evolved noticeably through her first three albums. Early releases, like Stars in the Attic, have a definite jazz influence balanced with a complex pop sensibility. More recent singles, like NOW! have a harder, more driving feel, speaking on the subject of police brutality. The last full length release, First We Cry Then We Laugh, is a collection of songs that speak on the subject of human trafficking, though you might not notice on a first listen. These Things Do Not Define You, from that album, has played widely and appears in a film released in 2017 called Virginia, Minnesota. An active performer in the St. Louis music scene, Sanazaro is currently writing new music to be released in 2018.
