Brooklyn-based Bass Control has 16 years of experience as a DJ and has performed for hundreds of music festivals, concerts, clubs, lounges, fashion shows and other special events. He spins at top clubs regularly in his hometown of NYC and has spun at top venues in Toronto, Miami, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Las Vegas and Buffalo. Since he started out as a DJ in 1997, Bass Control has witnessed firsthand the evolution of electronic dance music (EDM), along with its various twists, turns and mutations. This is reflected in his current style that combines house, techno, progressive, electro, dubstep and breaks, with some game-changing surprises in between. Bass Control is a true purveyor of electronic dance music culture. Media outlets continually seek out his expertise in EDM, as he has been featured in URB, Next, Time Out New York, Cityscoops NY, and Big Shot. In 2010, Bass Control was featured on Urb.com as one of the top resident DJs in NYC, due to his technical precision and top-tiered music selection. Presently, Bass Control is a co-producer of UMF Radio Presented by Ultra Music Festival, which airs on Sirius XM Radio’s Electric AREA Channel. Since 2004, he has been an integral part of Ultra Music Festival’s marketing team. The year 2013 marked the 10th consecutive time that Bass Control has performed at the Ultra Music Festival.
