The Klaberheads

Our orchestra is known in the mid-western states as a consistent crowd pleaser. It's a reputation that Franz Klaber, a German immigrant, began building when he founded the orchestra in 1930. And, it's one that's earned the band invitations to perform at Walt Disney World, the Hofbrauhaus (in Newport, Ky), the Wurstfest (in New Braunfels, Tx) and many other great venues. They especially enjoy playing yearly at the major Oktoberfests in the midwest, including Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland, Ohio. These annual invitations are because of their top musicianship and the ability to achieve a high-energy connection with the audience.

In the off-season, when they are not “Festing”, the Klaberheads (a.k.a FKO Big Band) perform at all types of venues from conventions, summer concert series, wedding receptions, parties, and dances, and play tunes from a wide variety of musical genres that brings fun and enjoyment to all ages.
