Stolen Thunder

Stolen Thunder are a four-piece alternative rock band formed in Santa Barbara, California in 2011. Early influences range from Queen to Metallica to Alice In Chains.

The band practiced for years under the direction of George Pendergast of Dishwalla. The band went on to win the most votes in a VH1 nationwide music video contest (for dosomething.org) challenging the lack of funding for music in our schools. No stranger to live audiences, the band has performed at such notable venues as Rockstock 2013 and 2014, the Lobero Theater, Whisky-a-Go-Go, House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe.

In 2015, MIX Magazine mentioned Stolen Thunder as “a band to watch”. Music insiders have compared the young band to skilled studio musicians well beyond their years. The band took a break in 2016 to record their first EP at Studio 606 with Chief Engineer, John “Lou” Lousteau.

Stolen Thunder’s current line up includes Katelyn Mires on vocals, Christian Pelonis on guitar and vocals, Ethan Harb on drums and Elliot Chesebrough on bass. The band are set to begin touring in support of their debut EP “Desire” this spring.
