About Electric Circus
The Electric Circus project breaks down the boundaries of musical genres: Funk, Jazz, Blues come together with World music, afrobeat and psychedelia.
In November 2018, our latest album Canicola was released by New Model Label and received positive reviews from music industry magazines, including Rumore, Blow Up and RockIt.
Alongside our constant concert activity, we also work on soundtracks. Our music was chosen by the director Andrea De Giorgio for the documentary series Storie Interrotte, presented at the European Parliament in February 2019 and published by Internazionale. In 2021 we composed and released the original soundtrack for the documentary series "Contrecourant".
The project was born in Trentino at the end of 2013 as a trio and over time it collaborated with many musicians. After an USA tour in 2016, the band moved mainly to Turin, where it’s currently based.
The live activity led the band, with more than 100 live concerts, to present their music all over central and northern Italy.
