About Gracie Martin
Gracie Martin is a Silver Lake based artist creating in a self coined genre called Fantasy Folk Pop. Since releasing her 2017 EP, Unconscious, Gracie has continued to spirit her listeners to sonic realms that weave together acoustic, orchestral, synthetic and found sounds. Her deep emotional mythology is the centerpiece of her inventive lyricism and idiosyncratic production style while delivering a unique pop sensibility and earworm catchiness.
Having recently moved from Philly to Rochester to Los Angeles, Gracie has embraced this period of transformation and experimentation – Touring across the country, writing, performing and music directing a collection of original music for a production of Romeo and Juliet and releasing a succession of singles and music videos. This nomadic time in her life has refined and expanded her sound and paid off with her most successful release yet with “Dreams Die,” as well as her upcoming collection of music, Ruled by the Moon. Kicking off the year with the release of her new single “twenty one,” 2024 will see the largest quantity of new releases from Gracie.
As she embarks on this new act of her music career, Gracie remains grateful for her formative past chapters playing with her former band The So Beautifuls, discovering her production style with the multi-discipline art collective Plant Me Here as well as years of formative songwriting in conversation with childhood friend and fellow singer songwriter Black Cat Harriet.
