About Fuzz Francis
In a tizzy of dark hair, Fender guitars and resounding heart-punching lyrics comes Fuzz Francis, a Los Angeles based, female-fronted indie pop band. The band is comprised of singer/guitarist Beth D, drummer Brian “Kubes” and bassist Scotty Henson. The band formed in the winter of 2016, and began creating catchy, energetic, melodic music, that will either make you dance your face off or cry into a pint of ice cream.
If Dolores O’Riordan (The Cranberries) and Karen O. (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) had a vocal love-child, the result would be Beth D’s unique voice; sweet and sassy, and dark enough to bring an audience to their knees. Influenced by the likes of Two Door Cinema Club and The Kooks, Kubes’ energetic, groove-heavy signature drum style is the backbone of Fuzz Francis. Death Cab For Cutie-esque bass lines breathe harmonic color and familiarity, while Scotty simultaneously utilizes loop pedals to play lead “guitar” lines.
Fuzz Francis is currently recording their debut E.P in Los Angeles, with the first single, “Say Sorry,” released in July, 2017.
