About Curious Grace & Black Rabbit

Described by Rebel Noise's Jordan Blum as a "rollercoaster of musical styles, raw emotion and heady themes," Curious Grace & Black Rabbit's indie rock pours out a big, glorious sound and Irish energy that'll get your blood racing. Fronted by a husband-wife Chicago songwriting duo, CG&BR drew a crowd of 1100 at the Chicago House of Blues for the I AM Fest 2019. Their shows are an intense live music experience that relies on symphonic keys, wailing guitar, groove bass, electric cello, Irish whistle and three vocalists that drive power harmonies. CG&BR has been recording new songs that draw more on the band's Irish rock influences, bringing in renowned talent from the Irish traditional circuit.

Jordan Blum called CG&BR’s album #worldonfire his superlative musical discovery of 2018, describing it as a "splendidly multifarious and an entrancing tour-de-force from start to finish.”

Curious Grace & Black Rabbit is: Galway Tom bass/vocals, Viking Mary electric cello/vocals/Irish whistle, 'Hollywood' Hickey guitar/vocals, Macedonian Maestro keys, Hippie Heidi vocals/percussion and Scott the Way drums.
