Dj Freshhh

Freshhh, French-born DJ, began working on the radio in the mid-1990s. Along a 20 year-long self-learned career, he has earned a spotless reputation and shared stages with major artists : DJ Format (UK), DJ Dee Nasty «The Pioneer», Perry Louis, or Djoon’s Afshin, amongst others. 2013 saw the first Funky Freshhh Party, that became a reference for funky dancefloor aficionados over the years. He carried along his technical skills and passion to international festivals (Rototom Sunsplash: biggest european reggae festival, French Transmusicales, Rock & Solex and Hip Hop battles alike : Hip Opsession (Nantes, Fr), LKS (Paris), To be Free (Tunisia). Freshhh collaborated with DJ OneUp on the recording of Just Break It & Catch the Unique Break 1&2 mixtapes. Other recordings include Jimmy Jay, or chicagoan Rita J. Freshhh also joined the French Hip Hop show Groove Control and the «I feel good» funk brass band dance show, created by the Engrenage Company. All the experiences translate onto mixes and albums : Funky Bijou Anthem 45’’ in 2010, the Afro-Ambassador mixtape un 2012, followed by Skim&Tone in 2013. His diverse openings show Freshhh’s knowledge and skills. As he opened for Gramatik, De La Soul, Blitz the Ambassador, Akua Naru, Voodoo Game, and Wu Tang’s GZA. Freshhh is entrusted the tables at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes (Fr), Carpe Diem in Tunisia, and even Beyrouth Yukunkun. After hundreds of showcases, the Hip Hop and scratch music chameleon DJ Freshhh has stayed true to his deeply funky and catchy musical color.
