After performing in multiple bands and achieving state wide success, he has stripped back to his foremost intimate credence. With only his voice, guitar and storytelling; there is a nostalgic and heartfelt tone to his music that is rare to find in today’s fast paced, loud, moving world. Zal Kanga-Parabia is a Western Australia based Freelance Photographer with a passion for people, travel and arts. Often travelling overseas playing music and capturing moments, he has a love for understanding people all around the world. He studies is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Photomedia) at Edith Cowan University. His first exhibition "on foot" (2014) was exhibited as part of National Youth Week in Perth, Western Australia. Zal Kanga-Parabia currently pursues a courageous and passionate endeavour as Music Producer at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. His focus is creating a music culture within the rural community and to give young musicians opportunities that allow them to be mentored personally and professionally. His current projects have been exceptionally successful, each show selling out and each artist receiving many further professional opportunities.
