Zabriskie Point

Se dovessimo definire un momento preciso, potremmo dire che il progetto Zabriskie Point nacque in un pub Londinese unendo le forze di due cantautori, Massimo Colla e Davide Santini; i due iniziarono a parlare di musica, aspettative e progetti, ponendo le basi per la band che sarebbe nata di lì a poco nella nebbiosa Correggio.
Da questo nucleo centrale si è sviluppa il progetto che è diventato con il tempo molto di più di un semplice catino di canzoni: i testi forti, le ballate, i riff rock, la psichedelia, sono stati solo l'incipit dell'avventura compositiva del gruppo che ad oggi sta attingendo anche da idee più moderne, nonchè dagli altri due membri del gruppo, Alessandro Sartori (batteria) e Nicola Ibatici (basso), per arrivare ad un suono che esprima il vintage sound in termini moderni e attuali.

If we have to set a starting point for the Zabriskie Point, it would be in London, where Massimo Colla and Davide Santini decided to join their repertoire in order to build a whole new project, conceived to light up the key elements of their music.
From that basis they developed the project Zabriskie that, since then, it has become more than just a simple way for them to play their music: their strong lyrics, the rock riffs, the psychedelic mood were the incipit for a new writing adventure, which is being inspired by Alessandro Sartori (drums), Nicola Ibatici (bass) and some modern sounding styles of music, with the purpose to create a new sound that delivers the vintage vibes with a touch of contemporary groove.
