Motorkam

MotorKam is a cross genre artist whose foundation is strongly rooted in hip hop. Over the last 2 years Kam has been honing his craft with various projects such as the "48235 EP" and the "Black Raiden EP"; with the two projects having such different sounds Kam began to focus on his versatility making it his biggest asset. Relocating back home to Detroit, he found himself immersed in a scene in which he used to watch from a far; The mix of electronic music, hip hop/R&B, and late 70's- early 80's funk became a huge inspiration for his new sound and thus a new alias was born...BlackDaddy. With a new alias and the same confident and engaging stage presence, MotorKam is sure to keep the party going and is ready to make memories. Kam has shared stages with acts such as BadBadNotGood, Muzzy Bearr and the All Good Records family, The Go Rounds, Pete Rock, Slum Village, Vox Vidorra, and many others.
