Someone Like You was formed in Kerrville, TX August of 2004, when vocalist/guitarist Josh Murley teamed up with drummer Patrick McCorkindale. Someone Like You won 2004 "Best New Band" and "Best Male Vocalist", and 2007 "Best Alternative Band" in Kerrville, TX. In 2014 Josh Murley appeared on NBC's "The Voice" where he was coached by both Adam Levine & Shakira. With musical styles ranging from progressive/alternative rock to funk, blues, pop, and reggae Someone Like You keeps their patrons enthralled and amazed. They are known for a their unique style. SLY wields an ever growing repertoire of crowd pleasing covers all with interesting original arrangements.
