About Going Quantum

Going Quantum began in 2010 as the alias of an everyday electronic music fan eager to create DJ mixes and post them online. After gaining considerable attention, these mixes soon grew into something much bigger; The Going Quantum Podcast. The Podcast featured many A-list guest mixes from artists such as Noisia, Flux Pavilion, Snails, Seven Lions, & Pegboard Nerds, before going on hiatus in 2016. With the inception of the Canadian Independent Record Label, Monstercat, Going Quantum was at the forefront playing a large role in the launch and assisting with A&R. His debut release “Hello” was part of the first compilation, titled “001 - Launch Week”, that kicked off Monstercat’s humble beginnings. To follow, Going Quantum released multiple singles, including “Raw’ which was featured in EA’s popular racing franchise Need For Speed in 2015. Following that, he went on to collaborate with Psychic Type, a fellow Canadian artist, on his latest single “Rare.” Fast forward to present, Going Quantum is the Director of A&R for Monstercat and continues to focus on the label. But as no stranger to DJing and Music Production, he is currently evolving his sound, working on new music to unleash in 2019.
