Owner and head of A&R for Vancouver-based Nordic Trax, Luke McKeehan has steadily established himself as one of the most innovative names in the world of House music. With over 65 releases spanning a decade & seminal tracks from such artists as Home & Garden, Gavin Froome, JT Donaldson, DJ Heather, Iz, Jay Tripwire, Kelvin K and McKeehan himself, Nordic Trax has remained firmly committed to releasing pure quality. A veteran of Toronto's warehouse scene in the 1980's, Luke's contribution to Canada's ever-growing dance culture runs deep; while his innovative DJ sets and critically acclaimed productions have earned him fans worldwide.

Exploring the boundaries of deep, tech and jackin.. House music through his deejay sets, productions & label, for over decade Luke has been one of the strongest advocates for Canadas underground club scene. Luke has also put his considerable studio skills to work, dropping original productions, remixes and critically-acclaimed DJ mixes [see complete discography]. History: Nordic Trax label founder Luke McKeehan has been keepin' it real behind the decks since the 1985, in the process becoming one of Canada's most celebrated underground house DJs. He has hosted and deejayed alongside Mark Farina, H-Foundation, DJ Heather, Gilles Peterson, Danny Tenaglia, Marques Wyatt, Little Louie' Vega, Doc Martin, Jazzanova, Diz and Ben Watt among many others, as well as opening for St. Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Jamiroquai and David Bowie to name only a few. Nordic Trax releases have been widely licensed to other dance compilations, web & tv advertisements as well as film and tv productions large & small.
