MCELLUS MCELLUS pronounce (em-sell-us) was born Maurice Barker in Lansing, MI 1986. it wasn’t until the age of 12 Maurice decided to go by MCELLUS when he performed. In 2006 MCELLUS Started Black Hoodi Records. Since then MCELLUS and Black Hoodi has Produced 10 mixtapes and 6 original cds by the end of 2011. MCELLUS is short for Mo sell us, which is a name given to Cellus for his ability to work with different artists and his selfless promotion skills. MCELLUS can do it all: rap, sing, produce, write vocals, dance, anything to entertain and express himself. He brings a blend of crunk flows and chants with a speedy Midwest party flow. His onstage antics include: making it rain condoms and candy, back up dancers in masks and face paint, onstage live drummer, Dj scratching, and pretty much throwing whatever he can get his hands on out to the crowd. MCELLUS has performed in venues all over the state of Michigan and also in festivals/events out of state. MC enjoys collaborating with upcoming artist on shows and song. MC has opened up for acts such as Yin Yang Twins, Shawna, ESHAM, Big Sean, Chopper from Da Band. With the release of his Solo Album (Mo Sell Us) MCELLUS is going to bring his world to you. Enjoy.
