He did a weekend morning breakfast show whilst working as a music compiler. Moved on to host Drive Home show & weekend Dance show. After his first professional residency in 2000, he has been associated with famous nightspots such as Spank, White House and other major Events in KZN where he performed alsongside the like of Dj Fresh,Glen Lewis,Christos,Vinny Da Vinci,Oskido,Fistaz,Black Coffee. In 2005 he attended the first SAMC(southern African Music Conference ) in Johannesburg. He learnt a lot from this conference, he then fell in love with producing his own music. In 2006 and 2007 he performed alongside the likes of Mr V, Alex Alvarez, Quentin Harris, Osunlade, Frank Roger.The SAMC really put Andy X on the platform within the music fraternity. In the same year he produced his own album ..The first movement he worked with Christos & Black coffee in some of the songs in the Album. 2008 he produced a song for Dj Christos’s Compilation called Platform 1,amongst other tracks he produced is the Hit "Out" the Hot single for Shana(Black Coffee,Mnqobi,and Demor) which was nominated for the Metro Fm Awards for Best Urban Dance….and Later the Song got Licensed by an International Record Label (Tribe Records) which made it to the International TOP 10 Downloads within a period of 2 weeks .He also made a killer track for 2007 Song of the Year Award Winner Sdunkero called "Another Level" He continued to put his Name on Another Level by Performing alongside Dj Rocco(Rodamal) Manoo,Dj Staxx(Abicah Soul), Ralf Gum(Gogo Music) and The Legendary Jesse Saunders (The Originator of House Music) He is by Far one of the Best Djs South Africa Has to Offer. 2009 He was Chosen as one of the DJs to represent South Africa in Algeria @ the Pan African Music Festival He is now one of the Djs that do Bassments mix for Africa’s Biggest TV Channel (Channel O ) He is in the Fore front of the House Scene and you can not ignore his Talent.
