By the end of 2017, Montreal, Canada's Nu Metal quartet Keychain will have played over 200 shows in 4 different countries (USA, Mexico, Canada and The Republic of Trinidad & Tobago) and appeared on several Major Festivals including Rocklahoma (Def Leppard, Seether, Three Days Grace) and FEQ (Metallica, Of Mice And Men, The Devil Wears Prada). Since the release of their debut EP, the band has opened for Annihilator, Nothing More, Hed PE, Crazy Town, Wednesday 13, September Mourning, Cane Hill and Westfield Massacre, just to name a few.

The band's debut EP "Breaking Out" was released in September 2016 via Zombie Shark Records (owned by Noah "Shark" Robertson of Motograter, ex-The Browning). It was produced by award-winning producer Glen Robinson (The Rolling Stones, U2, The Ramones, David Bowie, AC/DC, etc.) and mastered in Los Angeles, CA by 4-time Grammy nominee Howie Weinberg (Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Sevendust, Disturbed, Staind, Deftones, Chevelle, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc).
